Dunbar & Boardman is a specialist, independent consultancy with a 40-year legacy in vertical transportation and façade access design. Established in the United Kingdom in the early 1980s, the firm has continuously contributed to the successful delivery of high-rise and complex buildings across the UK, the Middle East, and South Asia, working closely with international architects, developers, and project teams. The company has built its reputation by offering performance-driven, code-compliant, and architecturally integrated VT design solutions across a range of typologies including commercial towers, luxury residential developments, hospitality, transport terminals, and mixed-use urban environments. Flagship projects include Burj Al Arab, Sowwah Square, Bluewaters Residences, The Obelisk Soffitel at Wafi Complex, National Bank of Kuwait HQ, Bahrain World Trade Centre, Msheireb Downtown Doha, KAFD, KAAR in KSA and many other high-profile developments aligned with regional urban growth strategies. In June 2025, Dunbar & Boardman re-established itself as an independently owned consultancy following a management buyout (MBO) from TÜV SÜD Ltd. The company is now fully owned and operated under Ascendrix Holdings Ltd, as registered with the UK Companies House, with regional operations in London, Dubai, and India. Dunbar & Boardman remains committed to technical excellence, client trust, and design integrity, and is actively involved in over 150 live projects at various stages.
